Triangles

As I stroll on Dimitry Pikionis’s walkways in Athens, I deeply identify with his love of stone, fresh compositions, texture, rhythm, patina and deep knowledge of history.

I can choose so many frames – I can photograph here forever!

Then I notice that many squares tend to break down at their edges. I write down in my sketch book: Do square carved stones ease their edges by cracking into tiny triangles? Do they wish to fuse into a womb?

  1. The world supposed to be round and the circle is endless; no start ,no corners just repeated turn of bloomings and sunshines. But, if we look deeper we’ll find the pain and cracks and even the triangle in its corner is the intersection of two sharp lines .
