Mound Hacker‏-Castel dell Ovo, Naples, Italy

My current site-specific art project is intervening in the time lines of actual Tells [mounds] and archaeological sites around the Mediterranean. The first one outside Israel is Castel dell Ovo at Naples, Italy. The castle, though majestic is viewed here on the right-hand side behind the marina.

Odysseus, whom I visited last summer at Ithaca, ran away from the Nymphs at the bay of Naples.

The rough sea was a good place for Homer to situate his myths.

Perhaps this is my first hint as why should I leave a key to Alexandria Ancient Library at Castle dell’Ovo.

I try differnt places to rest the shard as the sun goes down.

I am not sure about it so I came again the next evening.

The tiny ceramic shard seems like a boat; I have found the first place for a key to remain after me.

A votive boat?

Will anyone notice it and be active enough to search the website written on it?
