Be my Guest: Dimitris Pikionis and Euclid

Clio points out the beauty of the pavements as we are walking towards the Acropolis. The sun sets into to the Mediterranean sea. I find it a bit irritating to step on art.

This is how I learn about Dimitris Pikionis.

I discover endless compositions and mirrors.

As I am on my journey to Ithaca, I notice Euclid’s triangles mingled with boats.

Dimitris Pikionis is now also a part of my dream project: Reviving Ancient Alexandria Library

  1. HI NONA
I THINK YOU HAVE DISCOVERED SOMETHING ABOUT THE QUALITIES OF THE RECTANGLE, AND CORNERS BREAKING OFF INTO SMALL TRIANGLES- WHICH IS VERY MYSTERIOUS
ALTHOUGH IT IS LOGICAL THAT A SQUARED CORNER WOULD SPLIT ON THE POINT AND BECOME A TRIANGLE, I WONDER IF THE CHANGED RECTANGULAR STONE IS HAPPIER TO HAVE A MORE ROUNDED AND JAGGED CORNER, MORE NATURAL, MORE LIKE THE FORMS OF THE ORIGINAL NATURAL STONES IT CAME FROM….
