About Words and the Action of Writing
Words are an integral part of my artistic pallet: I engrave them into wood surfaces I paint on; I write with pencils and pens as part of drawings. I create stamps and use them again and again. Words are also a part of my video art.
I am attuned to the typography of letters, their size and media. Although I am ignorant in Kabbalah – the Hebrew letters are deeply resonating within me.
The last few years I started to learn Japanese Calligraphy which fascinates me deeply.
