    How big is that skylight? It must be wonderful in great varieties of weather – especially lightning storms and when the moon cuts through fast-moving clouds.

    Yes, the “frame” makes possible infinite”sky paintings”. That too is why we love windows and door frames, as in Vermeer and Renaissance paintings…
